Aromate Philippines Assets Corporation Signs Registration Agreement with PEZA in Taipei to Strengthen Taiwan-Philippines Industrial Collaboration

Taipei, Taiwan
2025/08/27

In a significant milestone for Taiwan–Philippines business relations, Aromate PH Assets Corporation, the Philippine subsidiary of Taiwan-based Aromate Industries, signed a Registration Agreement (RA) with the
Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) at the MECO | Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) in Taipei.

USD 3.5 Million Investment in the Philippines in the First Phase

The agreement was signed with PEZA Director General Tereso O. Panga as part of PEZA’s Investment Promotion Mission to Taiwan (August 25–30, 2025).

In the first investment round, Aromate PH announced a planned investment of USD 3.5 million to establish a new manufacturing facility at the LIMA Technology Center in Batangas. The facility will expand the company’s regional production of air care products to serve both the growing Southeast Asian market and global demand, while also generating jobs and livelihood opportunities in the Philippines.

Philippines as a Strategic Hub

“This is a significant development as we continue to welcome more Taiwan companies setting up operations in the Philippines, generating opportunities for both local and international markets,” said DG Panga.

Aromate President Jane Huang emphasized that the decision was driven not only by PEZA’s attractive fiscal incentives—including duty-free importation and income tax holidays—but also by the Philippines’ skilled workforce, strategic ASEAN location, and role as a regional hub.

This agreement is a major step in our global expansion and localization strategy.

Strong Bilateral Support

The signing drew strong interest from Taiwanese media and investors, underscoring growing momentum in bilateral industrial collaboration.

“We have been working with Aromate from the start of their due diligence in the Philippines, and we are confident the company will bring more opportunities not only in product manufacturing but also in R&D for innovative fragrance and air care products,” said Mr. Anthony B. Rivera, Trade Representative and Director for Commercial Affairs, PTIC Taipei.

MECO Chair Cheloy E. Velicaria-Garafil also welcomed Aromate’s decision to invest in the Philippines:

“MECO fully supports companies like Aromate as they expand to the Philippines. We are committed to making it easier to do business and to fostering stronger industrial partnerships between the Philippines and Taiwan.”

Great stories have a personality. Consider telling a great story that provides personality. Writing a story with personality for potential clients will assist with making a relationship connection. This shows up in small quirks like word choices or phrases. Write from your point of view, not from someone else's experience.

Great stories are for everyone even when only written for just one person. If you try to write with a wide, general audience in mind, your story will sound fake and lack emotion. No one will be interested. Write for one person. If it’s genuine for the one, it’s genuine for the rest.
